[Carfreeliving] Taxi driver hits bicyclist

I was riding in a Taxi and he changed lanes really fast without
signaling and i asked him to sigal and he said, "Why, I didn't see
anybody there."

	Would be nice if the requirement to signal lane changes or turns
was enforced.  I doubt that taxi driver signaled his turn properly, if
at all.  I tell my driving friends/family that signaling may be the
number one thing they can do to improve safety and be courteous, to
motorists, to cyclists, and sometimes to pedestrians.  Not signaling
strikes me as the epitome of laziness/carelessness...it requires only a
flick of the wrist and the damn thing even turns itself off for you half
the time!
