Just wanted to make sure that you knew about Walk SF's upcoming "Peak to Peak Walk" on July 23rd.

Walk San Franciscos Peak to Peak Walk
On July 23rd, Walk San Francisco will be holding their first annual Peak to Peak Walk, a 12-mile challenge that will inspire even the most avid walker. Walkers will get a unique view of San Franciscos skyline, stairways, paths, parks, and monuments all while raising money for WalkSFs vital pedestrian safety and advocacy work.
>From climbing the slopes of Mt. Olympus in the morning to celebrating with dinner in North Beach (optional), this full-day walk will tackle 15 different peaks along the spine of the city. In addition to dirt trails and stunning vistas, the walk also features a delicious gourmet lunch and the chance to win great prizes.
The walk will be fully guided, and youll receive a map of the route when you sign in. Each group leader will carry snacks and be in contact with other groups along the way. Around halfway through, well take a relaxing break for a gourmet lunch in a private garden near Buena Vista Park. All walkers will receive a free pedometer and a chance to win great raffle prizes. Your registration also includes membership in Walk San Francisco through August 1, 2006.
