Sunday Streets Returns to the Excelsior

For the second year in a row, Sunday Streets will be transforming Mission and Seneca Streets into a recreational space for the community to gather and play. On Sunday, September 29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the streets will be filled with music, laughter, bubbles, adorable kids in helmets, and so much more fun than what is typically there.

If you are looking to learn how to ride a bike, the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition will be hosting Family Biking Lessons. Sign up online for the 1 p.m. class, which will be hosted by Denman Middle School. Don’t forget to bring the little ones, because SFBC will also be teaching Freedom From Training Wheels! There will be a slew of free activities, including dodgeball, massages, bike rentals, yoga, games, music, and more! Check out the Sunday Streets website for a full list of activities!

Don’t forget the best way to get to Sunday Streets in the Excelsior is to take BART! The closest BART station is Balboa Park Station. It will drop you just one block away from the start of the route, so it’s incredibly convenient! Map out your trip at www.bart.gov.
